Jemstone Events was started back in 2012 by Jemma Lee, a company which specialises in AV equipment for event hire.

We are a team who pride ourselves on providing the skills, equipment and experience needed to make your next event go with a swing.

Our main goal has always been to provide the best audiovisual solution for each event, no matter what the type in the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire regions.

Our drive for supplying the very best in AV equipment is what we’re all about. Our team works incredibly hard to help clients achieve the best sound and look for their next event.

Meet our owner Jemma Lee

When Jemma was a young child, she would allow her entrepreneurial spirits to take over.

Discovering ways to make small amounts of money to pay for life’s necessities, sweets, chocolate, the usual things a 7 year old deems important.

At 15, she was offered a work placement with her school. She chose a Disco and Lighting shop in Nottingham. It was a week of heaven. Playing with tech and listening to music all week long.
Jemma left school, without a clue, unaware of what she wanted, trialling every sector, taking up every college course, testing the waters to see what she was made of, but nothing lit her fire. Jemma had her first child in 2012, with her partner’s experience in the events sector she launched the business from merely a Facebook page. The birth of her first child changed something within her and made her determined to grow the business she had always dreamt about.
Jemma took the long hours of learning and also developed skills as a Wedding Photographer along the way. Business took off fully in 2014 and has since grown to be the locally known company it is today.
